In this support video, we'll be covering the differences between groups and calendars within TeamBuilder. Athletes can be assigned to both groups and calendars at the same time, but each have different uses. The calendar is where programs are built, and athletes can only be assigned to one calendar at a time, whereas groups are primarily for messaging, leaderboard, and reporting filters and permissions, and athletes can be assigned to multiple groups at once. To manage the groups and calendars that athletes are assigned to, you can go to Coach Tools, Manage Users. Here, to edit an athlete's group and calendar access, you can click the blue pencil icon in line with their name. Scroll down to either remove the groups an athlete is assigned to, or to add different groups. You can go to Calendar Assignments at the top to assign them to a new.
Calendar and change their start date here before saving those changes. You can also do this in bulk by selecting the boxes on the left-hand side and then changing their group or their calendar assignment at the bottom. To edit calendars, you can go to Coach Tools, Manage Calendars. Here, you'll see the list of calendars already created in the account, including parent calendars and sub-calendars. You'll see the amount of users assigned to each calendar, the visibility for that calendar, which is just what athletes can see as far as future programming, and the date that calendar was created. To edit a calendar that's already been created, click the three dots on the right-hand side, select Update. You can change the name of the calendar here or the future workout visibility.
